These Masses are scheduled to last approximately thirty minutes and afford a special opportunity to worship Almighty God in the midst of the working day.

Our Clergy

The Rev. Fr. Richard C. Alton, Priest-in-Charge

A native of Connecticut, Father Alton began his duties at Saint Andrew's in May, 2007 after serving nine years as the XIII Rector of Saint Mark's Locust Street, the historic Anglo-Catholic Parish in Philadelphia. He has also served as Senior Curate at St. Thomas Church Fifth Avenue in New York City, Associate Rector at Trinity Church, Southport, Connecticut and Curate at Saint Mary's Manchester, Connecticut. Father is a graduate of The Yale Divinity School and Boston College. He is a Guardian of The Shrine of Our Lady of Clemency, a Priest-Associate of The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and a member of The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of Saint John of Jerusalem and The Society of Mary.

Father and his wife Barbara Bernardi Alton first met at Boston College. Barbara holds an MBA from The University of Connecticut and serves as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of The American Academy in Rome.

The Altons live in Riverside with their son Francis, Heidi, a German Shepherd and JC, a Chihuahua. Their home phone is 203 637-1125.

The Rev. Fr. Bartlett Gage, Assisting Priest

Father Gage comes to Saint Andrew's after eighteen years of distinguished service as the Associate Rector of Saint John's Episcopal Church in Stamford, Connecticut. A native of Illinois, Father holds degrees from Yale University, The University of Chicago Divinity School and The Yale Divinity School. He is a gifted preacher and hosts a website of sermons at www.fathergage.com.

Father is married to Faye Gage, Director of the Connecticut Writing Project at Fairfield University.
